Climate Box Toolkit

The Climate Box toolkit is the main component of the Climate Box program and is designed to educate school students and wider youth about climate change. Additionally, it guides and empowers teachers to effectively weave the toolkit into the school curriculum, as well as to promote climate education outside of the classroom.

The toolkit contains an illustrated textbook, a climate quiz, a set of game cards, a map featuring possible effects of climate change across the globe, a poster with suggestions on reducing carbon footprint, and a guide for the school teachers. The Climate Box materials have been translated into 13 different languages. Textbook

The textbook is like an illustrated encyclopedia about climate.  It explains in a simple and comprehendible way the science behind the changing climate, effects of climate change on nature and humanity, measures to prevent dangerous consequences and adapt to the impacts of climate change, and ways to reduce individual carbon footprint.

Quiz

The Climate Quiz is an easy-to-play game with 100 question cards on climate change. Each of the 100 cards has one question and four suggested answers, only one of which is correct. The quiz questions complement the Climate Box textbook and make it easier and more fun to learn about climate change issue.

Map and Posters

Explore a map of the world illustrating the possible effects of climate change on nature and mankind in various parts of the world by the end of the 21st century unless we do all we can to reduce greenhouse gas emissions, a poster with tips on how to reduce your carbon footprint and a poster with recommended climate change adaptation actions.
